Start spreading the News

After meeting mums longtime friend Susi at Eveline' s wedding I wanted to see her again in her hometown New York City. And so it was that I left for the homeland of George Walker for the second time in six month.

The hood of Brooklyn is the way to go brother, yo! Manhattan with it's Empire State Building, Central Park, Wall Street, China Town and Little Italy sure is cool, but much more I was sold on the borough of Brooklyn where Susi resides in a great loft. It might at a first glance not be as clean and beautiful as Manhattan but what it lacks in designer shops it makes up for in charm.

Riding on NY' s subway in a stroller is a pain so I decided I will tackle walking right after my return. I'm 12 months old now and it's time to get up on my own feet.

Thanks to Susi' s unmatched hospitality we had an amazing week full of great impressions. Great weather too.

Check out the 4 minute movie bro!

First Summer in Austria and Italy

After our first two trips summer came to Vienna at last. Already being a world class swimmer my mum went to the OeNB pool with me whenever the sun was out. Me and my friend Max, together with his mum Eveline, chilled in the sun swam and had a good time. Vienna really could use a beach though.

After our Easter trip to Italy (went out on grandpas boat) it was time for me to join my first social club. I opted for the Roman Catholic Church and so I was baptised in Linz. Plenty of Steiner and Kment family joined in after the proceedings in church we had a neat garden party at grandmas estate in Linz.

After a few trips to Linz and Saalbach I decided it was time for yet another holiday. We spent a week in Lignano.

Joined Phillip, my family and the gang for my first swim in the sea from the boat. Piece of cake.

Rise Mr. Tiger

Now, on my first trip to the USA I got Tigger the tiger at World Disney World. Since then, no sleep without it.
Daddy decided to bring it to life and promised me a 90 minute full feature animation movie.

Well, he ended up short of 60 seconds, nice try though. When mum and I were in Linz he got lost in this project during summer.

This 60 seconds took him nearly two weeks. I' m kind of glad he called it quits with his long movie, otherwise I might not see him again until the age of 18.
The Tiger is cool though and you definitely should check out the video (hint: and tell him you liked it very much next time u see him).

Go USA and Viva la Mexico

In order to get my frequent flyer programme going I decided to cross the great pond and head for Europe's old colony.
Check out the video and pictures for all the stuff we did. Not only did we see Miami, Disney World, Universal Studio Park and Cap Canaveral (these rockets really are big) but we decided to go on a last-minute cruise (as in ship).

After two days of eating and sun bathing we reached the island of Cozumel in Mexico. Unfortunately I was refused tequila on our night out BUT I had my first Mexican food (beans and rice). Not bad for a 5 months old!

Daddy, mummy and our friends Nati and Johan (we met em on the ship) took care of the tequila and beer. Daniella and I slept in our strollers on the pier.

Next morning daddy rented a jeep wrangler convertible for me (Note to myself: Get this thing called credit card and drivers licence ASAP) and we visited some Maya ruins and chilled out at a gorgeous beach on the far side of the island.

Had some coconut milk and enjoyed it. Best day in this life so far!

Video Part One (9 min): Kissimmee, Disney, Universal Studios
Video Part Two (8 min): Space Center, Miami, Cruise, Cozumel
Video Part Three (4 min) : Cozumel, Miami

Winter Break in Egypt

After the beautiful but also very exhausting first weeks of my life my parents needed some rest.
I decided that the best place for a 4 months old baby is the Red Sea in Egypt. It really is!

Don't get me wrong I kind of like my new home in Vienna but it's far, far too cold. The winter is ridiculously cold, why didn't no one tell me before?

(Note to myself: Choose warmer climate for next rebirth.)

Anyway everything worked out great on our first family trip. Hanging out at the pool, swimming in the ocean. I'm really into this thing called SUN.

The tropical fish at reef in front of our hotel were pretty neat. Gotta get one for the bathtub. How cool would it be to play with a live parrot fish instead of a dull yellow rubber duck!

Learned another interesting thing about life and such. Women called "Flight Attendants" are pretty cool too. Probably get one for myself when I'm a bit older ;-)

All in all Egypt was a blast.

Moving pictures to be found here.
